E-books and Affiliate Programs

Some E-books combine very well with an affiliate program. When the affiliate receives some extra benefit from promoting the viral message, like being able to brand your E-book with his affiliate links, the affiliate makes a sale when a reader buys through a branded link. You benefit from increased traffic on your website because the affiliate is willing to promote the E-books for you.

Be absolutely certain that your message includes a clear call to action. There shouldn't be any doubt whatsoever about what you intend recipients to do. Make sure that the instructions are perfectly clear so that recipients know HOW to act. The action that you require should be simple and obvious as well. Don't make things complicated or it will confuse the reader, such as by adding numerous links.

Remember the K.I.S.S. principle Keep It Simple Stupid! The incentive should be clear to those you want to take an action. Readers will look at your offering for about seven seconds before they move on. If it takes longer than that for them to figure out what it is you want them to do, they will move on. Don't make your message vague or difficult to comprehend. If you do, chances are you will lose them. You must respect your readers enough to express your message clearly.

Once you are sure you have an E-book that will be of value to an affiliate program, approach them with your idea and be able to show that it will be mutually beneficial.

Viral Marketing using E-books is one of many techniques that all together have a cumulative effect in attracting customers and subscribers to your business and in attracting targeted visitors to your website. You will very soon find out that this is an excellent way of increasing sales, subscribers and referrals.

Getting Started With Internet Marketing

About the easiest way to start an Internet Business is with Affiliate Marketing. You can start with no cash, no website, and no product of your own. Wow, you don't need anything except the desire to start your own business, although you will look a lot more credible by having your own website. But that can be added later, after you've made some money. Well, it's almost that easy.

All you really need is some knowledge of how to sell other peoples' products on the Internet, and that's not all that hard. There are a lot of people who make a very good living by selling other peoples' products and never have a website or any products of there own. But you still need a product or products to sell and you have to entice others to buy them.

Question: How do I find products to sell?

Answer: There are countless vendors who will gladly pay you a commission to sell their products. First of all, you must decide what type of products you want to market, and as you probably already know, it's best to stick to products that are of interest to you. That way, you will already have some basic knowledge of what you are promoting. Personally, I like "digital" products. They are abundant in numbers and new products are being released at a rate that no one can keep up to. They are also very popular with the Internet Marketing group because everyone wants the latest. And besides just selling them, you can gain a lot of insight by purchasing them yourself. Now there's a win-win situation. You can purchase something for a few dollars (usually under $50) and then promote it for the vendor and get paid a commission (normally from %50 to %70) for promoting it for him. But you don't have to purchase anything - it's just a lot easier if you do. That way you have a better understanding of the product and the vendor.

Sidebar: A great place to find products to promote is Clickbank. A link is provide on the right side of this Blog labelled ClickBank
that will take you to the ClickBank main page where you can view all the categories of products available, as well as a "join" link. ClickBank is free to join if you just want to sell other peoples' products. There is no fee unless you want to sell your own products.

I hope this post has been helpful. Some of the following posts will include tips on advertising, how to decide which products to promote, more about having your own website, why is OTO so important and what is it, and many more topics to assist your online business.

Until then, to your success
